Sue Hildick is the president of Foundations for a Better Oregon, initiator of The Chalkboard Project, a ten-year public process to engage Oregonians around the quality, accountability and financing of the state's K-12 public schools in order to raise student achievement to the top ten performing states in the nation. Previously she served as the executive director of the American Red Cross, Oregon Trail Chapter, as policy advisor to the Albert and Mary Lasker Foundation, and as government relations director for OHSU. She also served as legislative and policy director for U.S. Senator Mark O. Hatfield. She received a B.A. from the Honors Government Program at Georgetown University and attended the Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark. Beyond her City Club membership, she has a deep history of community involvement and board service with organizations including the Oregon March of Dimes, NEW Leadership Oregon, Regence Blue Cross/Blue Shield Oregon Community Board and the National Civic League.
