Forest Park Advocacy & Awareness Committee

The Forest Park Advocacy & Awareness Committee works to promote the recommendations in the Club's 2010 report:"Forest Park: A Call to Action " . Key recommendations in the report include: creating a regional park structure with a stable regional funding mechanism for genuinely regional parks like Forest Park; prioritizing Portland's largest park -- Forest Park -- within the City's parks budget; and aggressively implementing the objectives laid out in the City's own 1995 Forest Park Management Plan. The advocacy committee is currently accepting applications on a rolling basis.
