The global fair trade movement builds equitable and sustainable trading partnerships and creates opportunities to alleviate poverty. Learn about Fair Trade and find out how you can help promote economic justice, reduce global poverty and protect the environment by being an informed consumer.

 
This month’s speakers include:

Dana Geffner, Fair Trade Wholesale and Online Store Director for Global Exchange. This membership-based international human rights organization is dedicated to promoting social, economic and environmental justice around the world.
 
Elizabeth Swager, Coordinator for Portland Sweatfree Campaign. Part of the national network of grassroots anti-sweatshop organizations, this organization is dedicated to ending the use of taxpayer dollars in global sweatshops and in domestic work places with substandard work places works to build a just and equal global economy.
